NHK, the national broadcasting corporation of Japan just published a scoop about an aerospace research project of KMUTNB called KNACKSAT. In this project, Bachelor, Master and PhD students are constructing a low-earth-orbit or LEO satellite which should take digital pictures of the Earth and send it via radio signals to the ground station at KMUTNB. The team consists of students and staffs from Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Department of Electrical and Software Systems Engineering, the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering.
