Representatives from Rubber Valley Group Co., Ltd. and Chinese Petrochemical Industry Association visited Thailand in July. During the visit to Thailand, they took this opportunity to meet with the executives of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) on July 3 at Rachapruk Room in Navamintrajini Building, to discuss and seek potential collaboration opportunities for education, productivity improvement as well as discuss issues in relevant factors, especially human resources, to help accommodate future collaboration for the rubber industry between the two countries.
After the meeting, the delegates visited relevant faculties at KMUTNB including the Research Center of Innovative Rubber (RIR), located on the 5th floor of TGGS's main building. The group was welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Monpilia Narasingha —TGGS Dean, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee —Head of RIR and a lecturer in the Department of Material and Production Engineering (MPE), TGGS at KMUTNB. On this occasion, Dr. Rapeephun showed the group of visitors around the research center and demonstrated his research work on rubber, soil and cement for road building, water clarifying power and odor removal spray.
